For our visit we did a self guided tour and took advantage of it by exploring nearby attractions. While it can be walked in it’s entirety in a couple hours, the amount of time spent on the trail will be determined by how many of the sites you want to enter, how much time you want to spend at each, and whether or not you stop at other attractions along the way (stay tuned for tips on Boston’s other great attractions!).
